Everyone: please stop using “our most” to announce your products.

I do not know who started this trend (possibly apple but don’t quote me on that), or why it makes me so angry — I think it is because starting phrases with “our” puts in a familiar tone that makes you unconsciously engage, despite coming from a soulless corporation and not a mom & pop soup shop. Then comes the superlative: most + over-the-top adjective.

Essentially, this is the pattern:

<product name>: Our most <adjective> <thing> [yet|ever].

I am going to keep updating this post with a screenshot every time I see one in the wild.

our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our
